• 70/30 Isopropyl alcohol filtered to 0.2 micron
• Filled in a class 10,000 cleanroom
• Individually double bagged and sterilised by gamma irradiation at no less than 25kgy
• Non-venting trigger and bag in bottle closed system ensures sterility of contents throughout use.
• Independent validation data has demonstrated that the sprays remain sterile for up to 3 months from opening

The SteriVal validation kit provides an accurate in-house, surface bioburden assessment and contains everything required to carry out 6 tests and 1 control assessing bioburden on items taken from storage through 2 aseptic transfers to the critical zone. The test can be used to assess disinfection transfers, cleanliness of storage facilities and as a training and validation tool for technical staff. The SteriVal kit has been developed in conjunction with NHS Wales and has won a prize from the ABPI for offering significant improvements in the quality of prescribing and dispensing of medicines.
